State Senate Resolution April 24

We encourage your community to mark Arts Education Month with a local proclamation. Please ask your Mayor and City Council to take this simple step and show that they value the arts as part of a complete education for all students.

School Boards, Arts Commissions, and other entities (e.g. Boards of arts organizations, PTAs, Chambers of Commerce, Rotary, etc.) can also pass a Board resolution in support of Arts Education Month.

2. Add a few community-specific sentences and your contact information.

3. Send to your local decision-makers, Board members, etc., or attend a meeting and deliver your request in person.
