As we seek to develop the leaders we need for a future we cannot predict, we must ensure that today’s children receive the “whole child” education that arts learning provides.

That’s the very mission of ArtsEd Washington: to advance K-12 arts education in Washington so that every child in our state has access to the best possible education, one in which the arts are fully included in the regular curriculum.

Arts Education Month is a critical part of our work. Throughout May, we will conduct a statewide public awareness campaign to raise the profile of arts education in our schools.
