In 2019, OSPI,  ArtsEd Washington, Inspire Washington, ArtsWA, and The Creative Advantage informally explored shared goals and frameworks. 

Since then, leaders from around the state have developed a coalition and pursued four strategy areas to achieve our arts education access and equity goals:

Data and Research 
Educator Support 
Student Empowerment

The 2009 Arts Education Research Initiative presented statewide data on the state of arts in Washington’s schools,
and there has not been another statewide report since. Arts for All has been working to remedy this,
so stay tuned for the new report published in 2026.

Together, the A4A Coalition will ensure a vibrant and creative future for ALL students in Washington State!
