2025-2026: Stronger Together

2025-2026: Stronger Together

From our inception, collaboration has been one of ArtsEd Washington’s core values. As a grassroots organization, being in community with people who value arts education is key to how we gain understanding of regional needs. Rather than pursuing separate arts-related causes, we maximize our collaborative impact through ongoing working relationships with other leading organizations.

ArtsEd Washington has been diligently rebuilding our list of
Ongoing Offerings since the 2020 shutdown. With partnerships like yours, we look forward to continued growth and supporting more schools across the state every year.

Most recently, ArtsEd Washington has begun to remedy several widespread needs:

1) Exploring the intersection of Career-Technical Education and the arts
2) Clarifying the roles of leaders that influence arts education access statewide
3) Equipping educators and community leaders to advocate for access in their own communities

In partnership with leaders from Washington's creative economy and educators from Olympia, Seattle, and Spokane Public Schools, AEW created a collaborative panel to discuss economic insights, school-based scenarios, and ways to think more…creatively... about career possibilities related to the arts. As of December, this panel has been shared with over 200 educators and administrators.

AEW also produced a much needed Arts Education Ecosystem Infographic to help students, staff, and community members navigate conversations in the arts education ecosystem. And we began retooling our Community Ambassador program to help advocates in 8 counties form relationships and skills to advocate for their local access needs.

On December 6, 2025, artists and arts educators from around the state connected to expand their local arts community.
